In this one-hour recorded class, Toltec master don Miguel Ruiz Jr shares lessons from his fourth coming book, The Mastery of Life - A Toltec Guide to Personal Freedom.
As Miguel explains, The Mastery of Life represents the journey, or quest, that we all undertake to find our own personal freedom. In the Toltec tradition of his family, the layout of the ancient pyramid complex at Teotihuacan, which includes the largest pyramids in the western hemisphere, can be seen as symbolic stops along the path to self-realization.
Miguel also shares how the forces of domestication can lead us astray, and that the key to getting back on track can be found in the wisdom of your own heart, if only you are willing to listen. This is the journey towards mastery.
A quote from the book:
“Mastery refers to that which we practice regularly. In these pages, I ask you to take a deep look at what you believe about yourself and the world around you, and to notice what you habitually do—how you act and react based on what you believe. Then, once you have become more aware of what you think, how you act, and where those thoughts and actions originate, I invite you to practice new ways of thinking, acting, and being that are more aligned with your true nature and your highest good.“ -don Miguel Ruiz Jr.
